Mangalore, Apr 15: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and All India Congress Committee (AICC) Vice president Rahul Gandhi will campaign for the May 5 Assembly elections in Karnataka.
Speaking to presspersons, KPCC president G. Parameshwara on Sunday said that Ms. Gandhi would start her campaign on April 26 at Chikmagalur and at Mangalore. She would also tour at Gulbarga and Belgaum on April 30 and Mysore and Bangalore on May 2.
Rahul Gandhi would address public meetings in Bellary, Raichur and Bijapur districts on April 23, Kolar, Tumkur and Haveri districts on April 28 and Mandya, Hassan and Shimoga districts on May 1.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would campaign for the party candidates at Hubli, Dharwad and Bangalore on April 29.
Dr. Parameshwara said that the party election manifesto might be released in a day or two.
